REMINISCENCES.  Wayback 1994, I saw  Sir Edgar Valencia coaching the team of Almond Ceasar Articulo on volleyball techniques. (Who would forget the wild and enigmatic Darry Diaz Gomez? The teaser of 'em all! He even managed to give me a different swift for all I know...)  We actually not attending on the wisdom Sir Valencia had imparted but rather on the moves those gorgeous players rendered during time.  Sir Reynaldo Navarro, in his thinly physique, would just support the older coach on the matter.  When Concepcion Polytechnic College now Northern Iloilo Polytechnic College-Concepcion Campus has to end, Daryl Magno's team came into limelight bagging the CDSA season's volleyball victory...(Sir Nalds in his first year of teaching had managed to coach the group in transitory period. Sir Valencia came in as a seasonal coach!) I have to mention, Magno's team has Greek images too, melting our way as we watch them showing off godly endeavor...Hmm! Enough of the remiscences...you see some of them have captivated my heart and continue to linger on...They too were victors in their time...

THE "NOW"-THING. As far as Volleyball track record is concerned, this year's team make it to the Regional level defeating different teams in the Integrated level.  Composed of young men whose passion for the volleyball is incomprehensible, Concepcion's Volleyball Sharks tend to empower within 45 days to date...As new inspiration opens its door toward National competitions, Navarro still believes promising chances to be on the top...against the Philippine High School level volleyball powers!  It cannot be denied in 11 years of coaching, Navarro managed to concoct techniques and secret formula of creating champions in the volleyball court.  He, too, just like other wanted to be the best and this year,  he was able to hold the rein of superior turnings in favor of the Municipality of Concepcion.  Every Concepcionanon far and beyond have leaped in joy as once again, the Concepcion Volleyball Sharks put the town in a new map for competitiveness and excellence...

MY HEART MELTS.  I visited the campus today, and managed to see the team and their facilities.  Though I enjoyed talking to the school's matriarch, my mom, Wellet Del Castillo and the strong man Reynaldo Navarro, my heart aches on the sub-standard treatment for the team due to mediocre funding.  You see I am used to witness school champions where they are treated like princes--from shoes, to jackets and to bags and all incentives the school could provide! ---That what makes life in public schools different!  They produced champions out of mediocre funding, facilities and even less supports. ( I have guessed they don't even have vitamins for the Sharks)  MY HEART MELTS because seemingly the Regional competition is coming at hand, their shoes were technically need an upgrading!  And of course there is a need of enough funding for the foods, drinks and etc.   I am just astonished that the whole Concepcion seemingly is sleeping on the feat of the Sharks' victorious saga...Maybe Sir Navarro is fully equipped to manage the team but it cannot stand alone in with out proper facilities, supports, etc....the bottom line is...we are appealing to those good hearted Concepcionanon to spare few blessings for the group...Ma'am Wellet with all inspiration has challenged herself to deliver for the best...but they are only few...we need people out there to be tapped to help these dudes new shoes, jackets, bags and gadgets to sashay that Concepcion is really are Champions...I suggest, HELP!  For your donations you may send whatever help you could extend to :  Wellet Del Castillo, Principal III,  Roberto H. THE MAN OF THE HOUR:  Reynaldo Navarro the machine behind the Concepcion Volleyball Sharks...colored yet emphatic! 

KICK-OFF.  In the history of Concepcion, the first Volleyball coach who has the right to compete in the National Level or Palaro in Dapitan is Sir Reynaldo Navarro...He is also the one who made the dreams of Sir Valencia came true...the latter must be proud of his product...you see Nalds was once his player...I am so proud of the man...I think he should be recommended as head of Sports Affairs in the Municipality...we need man who creates champions...do you agree?
